Founders have 25 years of combined military service with 16 military moves between them and close observation of the housing and moving experience of more than 500 other military service members.

Military families, while enjoying higher incomes relative to the general population, are rent burdened at higher levels than the general population, own homes 50% less frequently than the general population, and are limited in their capacity to accumulate wealth while serving and in the years following their transition out of the military by virtue of the frequent, mandatory moves required of them.

Recognizing the common challenges these families face, Founders also built the models to capture the unique strengths inherent in the group that result from viewing their needs collectively and the potential to serve a member’s housing needs over 10-20 years due to the predictable patterns in their moves and assignments.

1. The cost of rents are skyrocketing, having climbed steadily for decades while wages remain flat. We help customers close the wealth gap by giving them guidance, security, and confidence in step-by-step action plans to build wealth all for the price of a cell phone bill.

We provide financial planning, investment management, and insurance at scale. Vanguard says that a financial advisor can add 3% a year to a client's assets. 3% a year over 30 years, will DOUBLE a person's wealth.

We serve black and brown high earners who are living check to check and put them in a position to build generational wealth through proper and holistic financial planning.

In our closed beta, we had a lot of success!

**(1)** We've had over 200 clients,

There are three unique insights we have learned working in this space:

1. **There is no defensibility in building a work marketplace**: Companies that build their own software and launch a work marketplace do not have any inherited defensibility, since more and more companies would build the software and launch their own marketplace eventually.
    1. At Wolf, we are making this even more apparent by making the marketplace software a commodity that anyone can access. This further reduces the value of building a marketplace from scratch. Just the way building your own CRM would not provide any competitive advantage, now building your own work marketplace software does not provide any competitive advantage.
2. **There is no loyalty/stickiness**: Candidates and Clients do not have loyalty towards a marketplace. They are extremely price sensitive. If another marketplace offers a better pay rate (salary), candidates would switch. Most candidates would work on multiple platforms. Companies also switch when they are offered a better bill rate—and would post on multiple platforms to see how quickly they can get their shifts filled for the lowest cost.
3. **True moat**: If the software does not offer defensibility, what does?:
    1. **The data**; and from data comes the ability to make more accurate matches between candidates, jobs and clients. The better a marketplace matches, the more likely the companies looking to hire and the candidates looking for work will stay on the marketplace. By aggregating data from multiple marketplaces, Wolf is poised to be the biggest collector of data in this segment.
    2. **Muscle for price war**: The lower the operational cost of a marketplace (barring the capacity to burn capital), the better rates it can offer to clients and higher pay to candidates, which would lead to higher retention. ## 💹 **Market**

Existing temporary staffing companies are a $120 billion market in the US alone. This is our first target market —helping these companies go from being brick and mortar businesses to being online work marketplaces.

We are also targeting entrepreneurs looking to start a new business operating a work marketplace. The service industry as a whole, which encompasses many industries that are currently being served by offline channels or by unmanaged marketplaces, is a $1 trillion market in the US alone.

## 👩‍💼 **Business Model**

We have recently pivoted to a revenue share model with a fixed monthly minimum:

1. **Startup**: An amount equal to 1.9% of the full value of all order transactions on the marketplace, subject to a monthly minimum fee of $243.
2. **Established Company**: An amount equal to 1.9% of the full value of all order transactions on the marketplace, subject to a monthly minimum fee of $500.
3. **Enterprise Rates:** Marketplaces that are exceeding $150,000+ in net monthly revenue are offered reduced monthly service fees with a higher monthly minimum.

There is also a one-time, $1000 implementation fee charged at the conclusion of the trial period. This is just to extend our runway.
